“I had the pleasure of working with Christine for over 3 yrs in my role as CIO for a large Animal Nutrition company. During these 3 yrs Christine has proven to be instrumental in some of the challenging changes we had to pursue.
The by far most challenging one, was the integration of an acquisition and at the same time moving the infrastructure part of the IT function to an outsourcing partner. This was about 5000 technology users over 21 countries at some 50 locations in a non-standardized IT environment. The staff impacted, including contractors were around 80 people. The project was quoted fixed price and fixed time and soon proved to be highly underestimated by the partner.
Without Christine’s dedication and multi facet skills, both technically, managerial as well as interpersonal, the project would have stranded. Thru Christine’s dedication, positive mindset and focus on critical path, she was able to keep staff engaged till the end and our partner on point to finish the project at least in a way business disruption was minimized. Although keeping all stakeholders on point and accountable, I yet have to come across a project staff or stakeholder who hasn’t been extremely appreciative about Christine pivotal role in finalizing the project. Even our partner, who has been pushed hardest acknowledged Christine’s value add until the end.
Christine has a rare combination of skills making her extremely effective in change programs. Some of these skills are: high emotional intelligence, able to quickly build highly trusting relationships cross cultural boundaries, strength to lead people through transformational change, team building (creating a cohesive team, empower and engage a team to accomplish challenging goals), building high engagement in challenging times, an achiever (getting things done but in a way that holds a team high), leading large teams of globally dispersed highly technical people, strong business and financial acumen and strong relationship with third party managed services vendor.”
